It is situated on one acre of mature gardens and has ample parking.

Directly across the street from Birr Castle Demesne and beside Birr theatre and arts centre it is within walking distance of shops, pubs, cafés, churches and local hotels.

Walcot comprises of 6 rooms all individually decorated with antique furnishings, all with TV, tea /coffee and ensuite facilities.We also have a Family room. Travel cots available on request ,Guests may also relax and enjoy the ambiance in our elegant drawing room and peaceful gardens.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served in our grand dining room and our menu is sure to please. Choose from our delicious buffet of freshly squeezed juices. Fruit salad, yoghurt’s, cereals, cold meats, cheeses and freshly baked bread, you may also enjoy a full Irish cooked breakfast and  selection of teas and freshly brewed coffee. Or why not try our delicious hot chocolate.
